It depends.

I've been studying European literature (and yadda yadda) for some years. The futurist movement in Italy is probably closest to what you, OP, intended by this topic. Even though some might like their art, in my mind they're completely ruined by the fact that their main exponent, T. Marinetti, was a huge supporter of fascism in Italy. In their minds war equalled progress.

Just out of curiosity what of the Futurist movement have you studied? I've had a passing interest in them for a while now but I've never found anything they actually left beyond manifestos.

Mostly the generalities: ideology, style of poems, literature, drama and visual arts, and then the political involvement. It was part of (several) larger courses, so never extremely in-depth, though enough to get a proper sense of what they were all about. Can't say I liked their work, even after forgetting momentarily about their wacky ideas.

Also, what about Morrissey? Made some great music (with The Smiths at least) but he's an utter ****. Not a Nazi or a peado or anything. Just a total bellend.

Lead Belly (old blues guy) killed a man. His music is still awesome.

I guess a line has to be drawn somewhere, but damned if I know where. For me, it would take quite a lot to make me stop enjoying someone's music or art. I mean with MJ he was acquitted wasn't he? If he was found to be guilty of that sort of thing then I suppose I would feel uncomfortable listening to his stuff, but innocent or not, he's one of the most successful artists ever. Obviously that doesn't make what he did or didnt do any better, but it doesn't stop his music being good.

If a person was unabashedly racist, homophobic, etc. then yes I suppose I'd draw a line.

I will continue to consume what the artist creates as long as his/her ideas doesn't influence their work too much. An example of this: I still enjoy Burzum's music even though his ideas are close to Nazism.
