Poll: Dreaming in third person

Talking with my flatmate this morning lead me to the discovery that while I always dream on third person, he never does. Which I find interesting because I'm an avid gamer where he's not and it seems reasonable to assume that's the reason. Supposedly in the days of black and white television it was common for people to dream in black and white, for example. I'm just curious about other people's experiences with this. I guess people who play FPS's might be more likely to dream in first person, and other such things.

I have once or twice, probably during times where I had been playing too many 3rd person adventure games. I very rarely remember my dream though, so it is possible I actually do most of my dreaming in 3rd person.

I rarely dream in third person (I can't remember the last time I had it). It's usually either first person or as if I'm watching the screen (when I'm not in the dream).

Sometimes.
Others I'm not even in the dream, its just like watching TV.
Most of the time I'm first person, though. But my dreams don't even make sense.

I've had odd ones where the perspective changed. It was kinda like in Chronicle, with the camera taking a better position.

I was counting the dreams I'm not in as third person, I'm fairly certain it still applies. I often remember my dreams so I feel pretty confident in saying that I never dream in first person. I find it hard to even imagine what that would be like.

I have had some weird dreams, ranging from sexual to terrifying, sometimes both at the same time...

I hate those, I always wake up feeling so conflicted.

Always first person... and a lot of the time they depend on what I've been doing just before I go to sleep (typically gaming, so I end up tripping out...).

Though, I have had dreams about sex, drug-trips, fighting (both single combat and full-scale battles from most eras) and flying (never all at the same time, though, you may be relieved to know). *shrug*

I'm mostly dreaming in 1st person.

Or it's a dream of something unrelated to me happening, so that would be the 3rd person I guess.

I dream in third person usually, but if it's an in 1st person (which is rare), it's usually much more frightening (all my dreams are pretty much nightmares, I'm really messed up).

Off topic, I recently had a dream where I was in a world where men got pregnant, and it was the weirdest shit ever.
