I feel drinking and gaming is one of the better combos in life. Much like coffee and cigarettes.
Only real time I've drank and played games when some buddies and I started Mario Party and someone showed up late with booze. AWSOME NIGHT! 4 20 something teens screaming at their characters and all of us forgot who we were playing at one point.
I've also had a few too many cold meds and played WoW. My guild told me to go to bed after I spent 5 minutes proclaiming how awsome my mage's spell effects were.

I was drinking with friends last night and Guitar Hero: Metallica was put on. Sober, I usually pass Master Of Puppets on hard no problem. Last night I failed miserably.
It just makes raiding more fun.
Plus, it used to be (like two years ago) I would mostly PvP (in wow) when I got back from being out, and consequently was pretty drunk. The funny bit was that when I had a drink or two I was unstoppable on my Warlock...when I tried to play him in PvP when I was sober I was just awful.
Probably because I would over think while I was sober.

Ahem... if you play GTA:4 while drunk, the actual drink driving sections of the game start to make so much sense. You still suck at driving, obviously - it just makes more sense. It's like a metaphor for life, or something.
Back in January me and a small crate of Wychwood ale plowed through the DLC's for GTA:4 (FYI, lot's of anachronism going on here, FOB, RESPECT, Snoop DO-double G.)I remember being utterly entranced by the club management mission's you can do in Gay Tony. I think you have to be drunk to enjoy those.
People have mentioned guitar hero and rock band, great fun to play while drunk. If you have somebody drip feeding you alcohol while you rattle at the keys, all the better, because it's hard to hold a beer while playing.

Never tried it drunk...I smoked weed somewhat regularly in my earlier years of high school and occasionally played stoned. Fun, if not as fulfilling.
Only happened a few times. Usually seperated into drinking nights with my brother. I had so much to drink that I couldn't walk properly, couldn't jump, but I could still fly a helicopter in Desert Combat. Kick Ass.

If I am having a bad raiding or PUG night I take a shot of vodka or two in my coke. Also have one for Bayonetta, everytime she says/does something sexual you take a shot, if you can make it through a chapter without passing out you win
