Took me once, but the guy said I was the most cautious driver he ever saw. and that the road would eat me alive.

*Le sigh.

Don't remind me I need to re-book my test, I thought this place was for escapism :(

I've failed 3 times. None of which for technical manoeuvres, all of which for being a complete spastic when it comes to driving etiquette. Let's hope I pass the next time.

Dunno if it counts for the thread but the only test I have taken was for my Class 7 learners. It took me 3 tries.

I DIDN'T HAVE TO TAKE IT BEEEOTCH! :D
I got mine without having to take the test because I had an A in Drivers Ed through my school;
And we went in a half hour before they closed so they couldn't randomly spot check me.

OT: Passed on my first try. My only error was that he told me to "stop" at one point, which I obviously assumed to be a gradual stop rather than a jolt.

After the test, I looked and I got points off for failing the "quick stop". It would've been nice if he threw that extra word in.

Still, I passed; no worries.

I passed on my first try and so far I'm only the second person in my family who has been able to do that.

I passed first time after reversing into the testing car park and mounting the kerb.

It was acknowledged to be an awkward kerb.

I got it my first time through. Interestingly enough while doing parallel parking, I was only about half done and they said that was fine (I guess they saw I knew what I was doing).

I did, however, lose points at one point because some other driver made a left hand turn from a side street illegally while I was waiting to turn left into it. He pulled out, as fast as possible, cutting off on-coming traffic which slammed on the brakes. Reason why I lost points : I didn't pull out far enough to block him from doing that. Strange.. seeing as he had to swerve around my car to make the turn...

I got a 92 on my written, but I had to take my practical twice. Who puts a damn stop sign on telephone poll!? Gah, that still pisses me off to this day. Oh well, been driving for four/five years now, and not so much as a warning.

I passed the first time, although only barely. I was shit nervous.

I'm an okay driver these days.

It took me three times.

The first examiner wouldn't have given my a chance even had I aced it (she hated me on site), the second one told me to parallel park into a giant hole. I passed the third time and never looked back.

It took me two attempts to pass the drivers test. The first time I did perfectly on the parallel parking, but the parts I messed up on was I was driving 3MPH over the speed limit; I stopped over the line at a red light; and I passed a road that I was supposed to turn onto. On the second test I messed up on the parallel parking, but since it was the same person watching he let it go, the rest of the test I did fine.

Oh, also? About two months after passing I caught myself driving only using one hand.
About three months after, I drove about 10mph over the limit, in any weather.

I got mine the first time with no errors. Hell yeah.
Same here. Surprising, since I almost got in a head-on with a car in a construction zone.

I'll tell you in a month. Although I am fairly positive I can make it on the first try.

And congratulations for your license to move in 2 dimensions. Now you have to make it 3 dimensions with an aviator certification in order to be ready to pilot your own TARDIS through 4 dimensions of time and space.
