Indeed. There are literally no girl gamers. Even the ferrets pretending to be girls are male.

I feel It's important to at least look into opposing viewpoints so you can see where they're coming from. Doesn't mean you have to automatically accept it.
Unless you're talking about arguing with the "lunatic fringes" of an issue, in which case I would point out that they aren't the majority in most instances. Just the loudest and most obnoxious.
The problem is people are considered to not consider both sides even when they've looked at both sides and simply don't agree with one. Or agree with neither. The "both sides" mentality tends to be bred from the Fox News, "fair and balanced" tactic of painting people who disagree as the enemy. If you don't agree Quinn is a horrible slut who needs to pay, you're a SJW/feminist scum. If you believe there is something wrong in this whole thing, you're a misogynist MRM and get your fedora out of here.
On YouTube, I've been recently called both a feminazi and a MRA because my opinions on things are...Well, nuanced. Hell, I got hate messages for agreeing with someone that the draft was sexist. Apparently, I didn't agree hard enough?
Most of the time, people aren't going to see "both sides" as equal. This attempt to force parity between them is a larger issue, as it tends to breed and us and them mentality. This isn't even about the "lunatic fringe" anymore, unless you broaden the definition. It's definitely not anyone, but I wouldn't call this mentality a fringe one anymore.
But then, in some cases, the entire thing seems to be fringe. The bulk of the Quinnspiracy was based on conspiracy theory logic, if not an outright conspiracy theory. I can consider that side, but I am yet to see any evidence sufficient to take them out of truther/anti-vaxx territory.
