I refuse to purchase anything from EA games. The last game I bought was Dragon Age 2 and since then it has been a complete boycott of product. I also encourage everyone else I know to not get the games either. It will probably get really tough once Dragon Age 3 comes out, if it gets really good "User Reviews" that is. Sim City helped me a ton because that was franchise I loved when I was younger. When I saw what they did with it, forcing online play and then the debacle afterwards my resolve increased.

I threw that in there because I wasn't going to create another point just for that game alone.

It kinda fit because it's not really an Elderscrolls game anymore. All freedom for your character and the way you play the game is limited to what Bethesda decided. The only thing that remains is the freedom of exploration, but you get that in any open world game. I don't see much difference between GTA, an action game, and Skyrim, a supposed RPG. It didn't need to exist that way, but like needless sequels, it was created for brand recognition, and not because it belonged in the TES series.
Fair enough, I don't really agree but to each their own.

Thank you for not being argumentative about it. For better or worse, I'm a HUGE fan of Morrowind with all of its flaws, so the less like TES3 a TES game is, the more I'm bothered. That's all my position really boils down to.
