I was going to say that this thread seems pretty redundant, since everybody has "date joined" on, not only their profile, but every post they make.
Then I realized there's a poll and it made sense.

As for me, I came to the escapist for the videos for about two years. Then, about a year ago, I started lurking the forums. Finally, I couldn't stand not throwing my two cents in any longer and I officially joined in 2010.

I remember back when you joined and posted like crazy. You got to 1,000 posts in like a week, and I'd been there just under a year and only had 900. You even beat the Morpheus badge, you crazy person.

Yeah, then I found user groups and my posts shot up even higher XD
