So, like a lot of people, when presented with a choice, I can't make up my mind.

This is the Pebble, an e-ink watch that syncs with iOS and Android phones

This is the Sony SmartWatch, which does roughly the same stuff, but more.

So what do we reckon 'scapists? Which one would you go for?

This will most definitely make me look stupid...

How do you tell time on the red watch?

The Sony one looks more expensive, more people will be in awe when looking at your wrist.

I used to know but now I've forgotten. I'd still choose those watches over the Sony ones just because the Sony ones look so very easy to scratch.

You can select which kind of display that appears.
I think he's asking how one decodes the display.

So 12:15:26 on the red watch.

The former definitely. Arctic White looks badass and sometimes less is more.

Do you know which one is more durable? also whats the battery life of each watch?

The blue tooth has to drain the battery of botht the watch and your phone.

Well yeah, but both of them have bluetooth.

Here

Cnet reckon the sony goes for either 2 days or 6 hours on a full charge. So not very long, but charging it can't be that much of an issue, it wouldn't be the regular-use watch for me.

Just from looking at them, I'd say the Pebble is more durable, as it's that plastic material most sports watches are made of.

That's what I meant. Thanks! I just haven't ever seen a watch like that.

OT: I'd go with one of the watches from the first set. The Sony ones kind of say, "I would wither and die if not for mah technologies".

I want some jetpacks and hovercars (made of rubber, so impromptu bumper car games are always an option in traffic jams), but those sony watches are more akin to bluetooth headsets to me.

It's called a binary watch. The more you know!

OT: Definitely go for the first set! They have a binary watch, for crying out loud - that's ultra awesome. The other two displays are also pure win. And the colours are kickass.

The Sony ones are just utter "Meh". The ladies ain't gonna be impressed if you can Facebook them from your wrist, they'll be all over the binary display though. Chicks dig binary. At least I hope so.

Pebble. Definitely the Pebble. Dammit, now I want one. I may have to fund that Kickstarter myself. Thanks for drawing my attention to it, OP! It looks like such an awesome idea.

The sony one looks like it has more touching space.
Plus, it does more!

Those Sony things are pieces of shit. They break quickly and do less than your mobile phone.

Yeah, I always wished I could update my twitter on a screen the size of a poststamp. Real useful.
OP never said if the "more" had to be good "more" :p

Plus, I wouldn't know. When I get a wristwatch, I go full classy, wind up analogue and shit.

How do you know they break easily?
