Poll: Ever had some Escapist repercussion?

got two suspensions, one for being an ass.
and one for doing the few word post multiple times a day.

I've gotten probation twice. Both were from jokes which were taken the wrong way, so I try to refrain from humor now. I'm pretty weary of this thread, it seems pretty wrath-bait-y.

i got once a warning for not really understanding the forum (was my 3th post) and my other warning when i caps in something (becouse i dident think) and that was around my 14th post, since then i have been accepted into this community

Never "Incurred moderator wrath" but I've seen others be punished for, what seems to me, absolutely nothing. It seems like the first three comments on any of the popular videos is an instant ban, even if it's of genuine discussion value.

So yeah, seems to me like the mods are a bit ban-happy.

Here's how it works, say the new ZP is released at noon, and the video is about five minutes long, if somebody comments at 12:02, they know that there is no way they could've watched the whole video, and just wanted to be the first to comment on the new ZP.

And I was probated, then suspended, I forgot why. Only suspended for a day though, and I didn't even notice until like, a half-hour before it expired.

No, I haven't been on suspension, probation, or even received a warning [small](that I can remember)[/small]. It makes me feel a bit weird. There were a few [small](and ONLY a few)[/small] posts in the past where I thought that I would get at least a probation, but nope. Oh well. At least I can say I'm a good Escapist, right?

I got suspended for my first offence (*shifty eyes*) because I told a guy that was whining about his life to stop whining and explained that a look his father gave him was one of disgust.

I've never written a comment that had more people quoting me in support. I was told I was 'trolling' because I was expressing my opinion (that the look was warranted, that the OP was whining) as the OP had asked of us. Some of the moderators here seem to think that the only acceptable opinions are ones in support of whatever another poster is asking about. So much for discussion...

No, not yet. I try to keep my posts relevant, and it's working out for me so far. I guess it also helps that I don't see much of a point in raging at people online.

So far, I haven't gotten any warnings or such. That includes being put on probation and suspension. The worst..was having one of my first threads locked. That was pretty much it, and I would like for it to stay that way.

Usually because they've been posted before the poster could possibly have finished watching the video. Some of them seem a little unfair though, as the comment boils down to "I was hoping he'd review this" immediately before the video is watched.

As for me, nothing (yet). But I still have more than 3500 posts to go until Neo, so plenty of time for me to screw up at some point!
