At least 3 times because of concussions, and once because I was put out to have tests done to me in the hospital.

The concussion times were as follows:

1) I was about 5 years old. I beat some kids at hop scotch. They pushed me into a wall.
2) I was playing soccer on a recently waxed gym floor. I slipped and slid into a wall. Continued playing afterwards.
3) I actually cannot remember the third time, but I've been told it's been three concussions so far, so I take people's word for it. >_>
Dang. 3 times? No 'fence meant, but it seems it is starting to catch up with you. Don't worry about it. I'm on my 4th. I can't remember anything under 8 years anymore :(
I have a something I like to call a "selective memory" anyway. I need to actually feel attachment to something to remember it. I'm not certain this was caused by the concussions, but it may have been. I can't even remember what I ate for breakfast yesterday, but I can remember things that have happened years ago, if they made me emotional in some way.

Ive drank myself into a blackout and apparently am the exact same as when i am sober, having come out hung out, partied some more, then just went to my room and passed out for good. Noone even knew i was blacked out cause the last bit i remember that night was going to the bathroom to rinse my face off and take a wii, i do not recall anything after that, but apparently i came out chatted with my buddies smoked a bit for about a half hour then just suddenly got up went to my room and wokeup there the next morning. :p

college days ftw.
You've only done that once? :p

Well the only time I've really passed out (blackout isn't passing out. You're still up and about, you just cant remember anything) was the first time I was drunk.
I was 14, and had never really tried drinking before. I apparantly passed out around 10pm, and woke up 3 hours later in the hospital with my parents standing there...lol.
Interestingly enough they weren't pissed at me.

My story is rather lame as far as fainting stories go. About a month ago, I'm playing a game in order to relieve stress for a play I'm in later that evening, and it's time to go. I slip momentarily and kinda scratch the side of my thumb on one of metal speakers. Apparently, I jammed a radial nerve or something, because I get upstairs, get my shoes on, and head outside to wait for everyone else when I suddenly think "Okay, I just jammed my thumb, why the hell does it so damn mu--" *wakes up sideways on the walk* Odd bit was, my family never noticed me collapse, they were busy inside, so I didn't tell them and went on with the play. It went perfectly, haven't fainted ever since.

You're starting to sound a lot like me.

Oh dear!

Oh well, I've learned to cope. Sometimes it can be a good thing, not remembering much, except for when it comes to school. Then it can be a pain. XD

There were three times I got knocked out.

One time (and the one I chose) is because I needed to be conked for oral surgery.

Another time I got sick with the flu the day before the second round of a chess tournament I was attending and had to drop out. It was either that, or I fell asleep on the floor, I forget which.

But the kingpin of the three was when I was seven, and due to a poor choice of eating a badly made peanut butter banana sandwich, I was cleared to leave the classroom in second grade and instead of going out the door, I was so nauseated I ended up walking smack bang into the filing cabinet next to the door and got knocked out for an as of yet unspecified amount of time. One of my friends still brings it up every time we meet.

Once upon a time I was a boxer in an unsanctioned amateur club using pro rules. Fought between 147 and 160. Had no business fighting at 160. Found that out the hard way when an honest-to-God middleweight put leather to the side of my head.

I once got really fucked up by sun on one fine hot morning. I lost consciousness because I almost had a heat strike, or whatever you call it.

And then there's the martial arts sparring, I've been knocked out during friendly fights once or twice.

Not so much when it comes to drugs, I haven't been in surgery yet and my kind of "fun" drugs doesn't usually lead to loss of consciousness. Unless you count alcohol, but I rarely drink more then the required amount to get tipsy, 2-3 bottles of beer or the equivalent or so.

And I don't know if insomnia-induced "black outs" kinda count as loss of consciousness. If you don't sleep for days, you can simply fall asleep as you go and wake up moments later, it feels kinda like a mini-knockout.

I took a hockey stick to the head when I was in grade ten. Some kid brings this hockey stick to a brawl. Not cool.

Ive fainted twice, one time from too much smoke inhalation (not what you think) and the other from overworking in hot weather.
