I had a really bad head rush while waking up one and passed out on my table. I have an issue that makes head rushes ten times worse for me, I nearly collapse every time I get one and they're rather frequent.

A girl in my grade seven class passed out in an assembly once. I was standing in the row behind her, don't even remember what they were talking about, she just suddenly fell backwards. I remember wondering "Why couldn't she have done that at the beginning of the assembly?"

Nope, never, even after some nasty blows to the head and marching in heat wearing full plate-armour without water.
Why were you matching in full plate armor? Might I ask. Because last time I checked the armed forces didn't require their soldiers to wear full plate armor. I don't think they've made anyone do that for a couple of hundred years.
Well........ The danish army is a tiiny bit behind the surrounding world.
dat's probly why tey nver win a battle teh noobz! lolz! Roflcopter! U guyz r teh fags!

No bad Troll! Get back to the basement!

Seriously, they make you wear full plate armor?
Nah!^^
Imma LARPer, one that loves to travel across the country a few times a year to attend to teh most awesome LARP there is. Krigslive(War-larp)
Warhammer-based, near full contact, about 400 players and pure aweshumzorz... At least in my eyes...

But yeah, the danish army still use an altered version of the old german MG42, called the MG62
We mostly call it the "Nazi Saw", due to its great accuracy and high fire-rate. Sadly, it weighs about 10 kg(20 pounds) unloaded, limiting the users movement.
But its awesome for defensive MG-positions(or on vehicles), often used with a scope.
A driving snipers-nest! Only with the option of full auto :p

One time, i was at the beach and decided to catch a Frisbee by jumping backward, ended up banging my head against the rocks and passed out for 4 seconds.

Only once, and I loved it... It was after I broke my arm (both bones, open fracture (apparently one of the bones had pierced the skin from the inside... and that's why I could feel my pulse when trying to prevent my arm from making my neighbours car all bloody.. (now that I think of it, damn good luck she was on her way to work.. or else it would've hurt a lot more I fear.. :D))), for some surgery.. felt like a good nights sleep, and my arm didn't feel, nor look, as messed up any more :D (surprising though, since they put 2 damned "spikes" (metal things, about 0.5 cm in diameter, and about as long as my lower arm =.=")) and once more when they removed the "spikes" =P

Wow. This sure exploded overnight! I appreciate all the feedback.
Wisdom teeth removal seems to be the most common response, as of yet.

When you first said that you wore full plate armor I thought you were a LARPer but I will admit I believed you completely when you said it was because of the army. However I thought it was like a ceremonial uniform like the Palace Guards Busbies(the ridiculously tall hats tourists love) I didn't actually think you went into battle wearing full plate armor!

Sadly not :,(
The danes have never been that focused on armour, like the germans, italians and... everyones else, since its an island-nation, so they/we have allways focused on the navy.

I wish we had a greater armour-production. Maybe that could lower the prices :p

Strange fact. I find it hard to believe my self, but it seems like its the units with the flimsyest non-combat uniforms, who is the most active war-goers.
Everytime I hear about the danish soldiers in Afganistan, its allways the life guards or the dragoons o_O

Let's see.
The times I lost conciousness.
At least the ones I remember. ;-)

By accident:
After I tried a 360-spin with my BMX on a concrete ramp, I was away for almost 2 minutes.
Even though I wore a helmet...

By violence:
Well, I started with martial arts about 20 years ago and had to take some K.O.'s since.

By drugs/alcohol:
Way too often... ;-)

By a medical anesthesia:
I had a major accident at work 2 years ago.
An industrial fan(the ones with metal "blades") felt into my right forearm, running.
Cut through almost everything exept the bones.
4 hours later I was still totally pumped up with adrenaline, they had to give me the triple doseage so they could operate.
Felt into unconciousness several times after the operation due to pain and/or sedatives.

Dang. Maybe you should start wearing body armor.

My main cause for being forced into unconsciousness is through medical drugs when I've had to have surgery. Nice when you're going under, not so nice when you're coming out of it.
Aye. Pharmaceutical stuff makes me feel slightly ill at the mere thought of it. Generally, my rule of thumb is I don't put anything in my body if it makes me feel like shit 24 hours later. That's maybe short sighted and not based on chemistry or anything like that, but it works for me, so whatever.
But yeah, I've had far worse times with medicinal stuff than I have had with most illegal drugs.
Funny that, isn't it?

My Mother is currently on some nasty tablets for really bad arthritis which are doing pretty bad damage to her liver, and it's supposed to be fucking medicine? Please..
Yeah. Some medicine is pretty nasty. Especially when it comes down to side effects. Though if it means I don't have to be awake while I'm cut open and having my internal organs played with, then I'm ok with it.

Once when I was in 6th grade, I passed out for a few seconds and got taken to the hospital. It was pretty weak.

And then once from drinking too much on new years last year. I had also done something...else. that night. It was a godawful experience and after it I learned to drink moderately and I don't do anything else.

Have had surgery twice, so both times had the anesthesia for it.

Then one night got blackout drunk with some friends, woke up and didnt remember going to sleep, or how I got on the floor- no pain though, besides the hangover
