I walked out of "10000 BC" because it was just so damn awful.
I was gonna leave that one but we kept making fun of it. We just couldn't take it seriously. We decided that it was meant to be a comedy, that made it an awesome movie.

I've been to tons of horrible movies but I've never left before one ends, simply out of respect for my friends who are watching it with me.

I didn't so much walk out as was forced to walk out of The Strangers because my little sister wanted to see it but got too scared to continue halfway through the movie.

Yes. Twice. Once for Black Sheep and another for Balls of Fury. They both SUCKED! SO BAD! And it takes ALOT to make me so bored that I walk out

I REALLY came close during Transformers 2. To anybody with a brain and some decency, that movie was a fucking insult. Why I paid money to see some shit made for republicans, frat boys and douche bags, I have no idea.
Its a popcorn movie. I don't think they could make it any more blatant short of saying it outright that the movie isn't aiming to astound you with acting credentials, a moving script or timeless morals.

That may be, but it's still chauvinistic, racist, offensive, and stupid. The "popcorn movie" excuse may cover mediocrity, but it does not cover Michael fucking Bay.
That all is a bit of a stretch.

Once. The first Tomb Raider film. I have never been so bored by a film in all my life. Not even Angelina's lips could save it.

Okay, twice...I walked out of Operation Condor (Armour Of God II) But that was because some asshole set off the fire alarm in the theater and we HAD to leave. I definitely didn't WANT to walk out of that one!

You should have just walked out anyway. Would have been epic.

Because if so then that's not very epic :/

If I decide to go on my (non-mandatory) class trip to see Alice In Wonderland (for a college level aesthetics course, I would probably walk out of it.

I walked out of the Grinch, but I don't remember why I did. I SHOULD have walked out of 'Just Like Heaven' but I don't remember why I didn't

The only time I've walked out was watching Vanilla Sky. Went to see it because a friend of mine, who normally shares the same taste in films, had seen it the weekend before, and wanted to see it again because he thought it was so damn good. I think I made it nearly all the way through, but maybe it just felt like it should have been close to the end because I was so damn bored. Even if a film's bad, I'll stay and watch it. A really bad film (OP mentioned Meet the Spartans, both Transformers films and the new Indiana Jones also qualify) at least allows me to rage about everything that was wrong with it. Vanilla Sky was just a blank.

Never felt the need to walk out. I don't think I've ever seen a movie bad enough to walk out.

Saying that I research my movies before going to see them as tickets are so expensive. It costs me £8 ($12) to see a movie, so I don't wanna risk it!

Don't know if it counts since it was technically a free movie and it was playing outdoors but I just couldn't stand to watch any more of Public Enemies. It just didn't really sit well with me for some reason.
Quantom of Solace almost got me to leave as well, except that I had been driven there and that the lobby of the theater had hard seats.

walked out at the ending of Mission to Mars. Not really the worst movie I've ever seen, but it still bored me to tears and for some reason I left.

I have never walked out of a movie, purely because I have paid money to be there. If the movie is bad though, a cinema seat is a great place to have a sleep (providing you take a friend with you to wake you up at the end) :)

My friends and I walked out half an hour into Rob Zombie's remake of Halloween. We only paid $4 for it so its not like it was a great loss. I'd much much much rather pay four more dollars (or even ten) to not have to watch that... thing... so I don't have to sit through almost two hours of misery, boredom, and annoyance.

Seriously. Started out as the worst remake and worst general movie I've ever put myself through. And I've seen some pretty terrible films.

I have never walked out of a movie in theaters. There were many times I was tempted to do so, such as with the Alice in Wonderland remake or Where the Wild Things are, but I stuck through them, hating every moment of it. There is no reason why I shouldn't have watched all of Alice since I got in free because my brother works at AMC.
