Halo was the first game I played non-stop. It was the first game I got for my xbox, and I thought it was amazing, as it was my first 15 back when I was 10. Before that I played crappy kids games.
So I've been a fan of Halo from the start, and I've loved every game, including ODST. I'm not a fanboy though, I will admit it has flaws. However, I think Halo is fun, and that is what a game is supposed to be.

Eh, it's like Madden games: It may suck, but it's the best out there of its kind. I don't like the game because I don't like that genre.
In my opinion i liked a little of the Halo franchise but over time started hating it because of the MLG fags that ruined the aspect of gameplay for me because the game was to be taken "seriously", and because of that i realised how mostly retarded the people playing the game were. That and they kept milking the franchise to the point of stupidity.
I dislike because it's so generic, bland and completely uninteresting, but "hate" is stretching it. I don't play it, so I don't care.
I hate it, and I've always hated it since it first came out. I hate all FPSs for consoles so Halo isn't any exception, and the fact it was on the original Xbox made me hate it even more. I couldn't use those controllers with my tiny hands. If it was also available on PC at first I might hate it less though, also I may of helped if everyone wasn't obsessed with it at the time. Since I didn't like the first one I didn't give a shit about any other releases that might have been good.
I used to love it but its all my friends ever want to play so Im kinda bored of it now. one thing that is good is the multi player is one of the fairest in online fps's at the moment. (every one starts with the same weapons unlike some other fps's on the market.)
It's a thouroughly OK game, but not much more. What bugged me about it was when it was new, I had friends who talked about nothing but how amazing it was. I played it for the first time and went "is this it?" I'll probably grab the PC versions of 1 and 2 now that I have a PC that can handle them, but it's fairly low on my list because there are just better games out there. (I was a Playstation guy for the 32 and 128 bit gens, so I never played through the whole thing on the Xbox, and this gen the consoles haven't impressed me enough to buy one over a decent computer)
