I feel for you, even though I live in Brisbane. Beaches are pretty good down here, but I will not swim in them so long as A. There are Blue Bottles Jellyfish (had one wrapped around my stomach once. That's what you get when you swim in at a beach that's been taken over by the damn things) and B.
