Totally Batman. Ezio is nothing without his retracto-blades, and Batman has been kicking ass for over 72 years. Experience + Badassness = Ezio getting the pasta beaten out of him.

Even without gadgets, there isn't a single thing that batman can't do, if a human is capable of it.

Just to prove my point:

Hey see I told you whatever ability he needs he somehow always gets it or already has it!

Have to go with the Batman. That dude trains every day, patrols almost every night and never really stops. That's the kind of dedication that can only come from serious psychological issues.

All that aside, I think he's also listed as one of the DC universe's greatest hand-to-hand experts. Ezio is still kind of a noob.

EDIT: Also, I believe that if Ezio were in modern day Gotham he would either:

A) Get shanked/shot by some of it's denizens.
or
B) Get run over by a car because he's never seen them before.

Ezio because he wouldn't get into combat with Batman, he would just track him down to find his real identity and then stab him in the back from out of nowhere. Batman still has a life to lead while Ezio can always be on the watch

Depends.

If we're talking about the newer incarnations of Batman, I think Ezio would probably win, since Ezio has no qualms with killing and can therefor go all-out. Batman would have to meter himself and pull his punches. Not to mention Ezio's considerable underlings, who are just as well-trained in many areas of combat as he is.

But if we're talking about an indiscriminate Batman? Ezio can kiss his ass goodbye.

I'm going with Batman since he's the goddamned Batman people. When you tangle with the freaks and monsters of Gothom City all the time a normal person can be a pro.

Batman. Why is this even a question. Ezio is cool, but Batman is FREAKIN' BATMAN!

Batman doesn't need the gadgets, he's a goddamn ninja.

This is relevant:

Well Ezio has that a gun with what effectively looks like a laser sight, so I'll go with him.

It'd be a close match, but I reckon it'd depend on the rules of engagement.

If it was a fight to the death, Ezio would obviously win, because Batman doesn't kill. Even if he beat the shit out of Ezio, we all know that Assassins are very good at getting away, and eventually Batman would be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

But.

If it was merely to the pain, Batman would kick Ezio's arse to hell and back. Batman's much better at stealth than Ezio is, and has better armour. Since Ezio's gadgets focus on high lethality with little actual impact, not being able to use those would make things very difficult for the Assassin.

Besides, he's the goddamn Batman.

(Wtf? Captcha gave me Greek letters?)

I'm gonna go with Ezio, seeing as how he has more experience in killing people. Ezio is pretty much Renaissance Batman who kills people anyway. Except Ezio actually gets things done because he realizes that sometimes you have to kill people for the betterment of others instead of just locking them up in an easily escapable building.

If we are going with a straight up fight as in both of them know someone is coming for them Batman. He is simply a better hand to hand fighter, and he has bee trained to counter most of Ezio's weapons. Unless he has a piece of eden in which case Batman is pretty much screwed.

Batman.
All the way, every way.
Even if it was a case of Batman being transported to Renaissance Italy without prep, he would still win. The sheer amount of canon skills that this dude has is ridiculous, plus he's the goddamn Batman.
Ezio is good, granted, and in a "which character has the better, more fulfilling life" contest, then Ezio would win with ease, but because it is straight up vs. Ezio is far too underpowered to defeat Batman.

Snake, on the other hand, would be far more interesting, despite the fact that Batman would still win. Probably because he's the GODDAMN BATMAN.

Batman vs. Chinese Electric Batman would be a far more even match up.

I'd say it depends on the territory, Batman would kick Ezio's ass in his 'univierse' because apparently fists and funny shaped boomerangs are all that's needed to save the day. However, in a real world scenario, I'd put my money on Ezio, because Ezio is a trained killer and has no qualms with sticking bruce wayne, because like Ezio is stupid enough to face bruce wayne as batman

Let us compare the 2 protagonists by their villains (if I miss some batman villains sorry)

Batman:
1. Joker - insane with no regards for human life and possible of anything without remorse
2. Harely Quinn - see Joker
3. Mr. Freeze - uses freeze gun and is a genius
4. Poison Ivy - perfect fem fetal who can control plants
5. Bane - superhuman strength
6. Clayface - form his body into any weapon or anyone
7. Killer Croc - super human strength
8. Scarecrow - see Joker but add scarecrow theme and obsession with fear instead of comedy

Ezio:
1. Random guys with in chainmail gear
2. a fat Spanish guy (oh wait he didn't)

I would also like to point out that Batman doesn't kill his enemies. It takes much more skill to subdue someone in modern times than shoot them in the face with a gun in the freaking 1600s.
