Ok this is the scenario, Ezio has been hired to kill Sam and Sam is aware of this hit out on him therefore has to kill Ezio first, they have no handicaps and have all of their available equipment as of end the latest games.

It's a race of who will kill who first, who wins?

VS threads are not welcome here.

Sam fisher will win. The bastard can see through walls and he vanishes instantly when he walks into a patch of darkness.

Taken into consideration, it's only because my brother and his friend got into a heated debate about it that resulted in sketches of fights, tables of disadvantages and advantages etc..

How come people don't like vs. threads?
All polls are just elaborate vs. ....thingies.

Not saying I like them or anything.

If you feel it'd be better to remove the thread I have no objections but really I'm asking about the advantages and disadvantages of each character, whether or not renaissance period fighting techniques could hold up against todays, I'm happy for the thread to be removed but I wouldn't have posted it if I didn't think it would provoke any sort of interesting discussion.

Yeah I've had enough of the 'No V.S threads here' matter. It's really the only thing bad about the Escapist forums. Other than the searchbar nazis. Plus, like SFJ said, one of the reasons mods resent VS threads is because of the flame war that inevitably comes. It doesn't make much difference to ban it then, does it? Anyway, I'm not going to question how the mods do things here, just saying.

Anyway, Fisher. Oh c'mon. He can see through walls, have guns and grenades, and is just as stealthy as Ezio. Ezio could poison him, or attack him from real far. If Sam is aware, it's unlikely either will happen. What's him going to attack him with real far? His makeshift pistol? Throwing knives? Sam would probably get a little paranoid and drink and eat cautiously.

The thread can stay buddy, your new here so sometimes newbies aren't aware of all the guidelines, hence it wouldn't be fair to lay down a banhammer on you on the thread.

As for the uniqueness of the thread the greater suburbs of the internet get enough "whats better cookies or pancakes?" threads, I choose pancakes. But all versus threads can turn into flame wars by the secret cookie society, its why we don't like them, we are waging an invisible war against the evil cookies.

Very one sided fight that one. Poor Ezio. Goodbye (criminal dog). /cue Russian accent

And to entertain the OPs valid question whether or not Ezio would stand a chance against a fully geared Sam Fisher: No. He would not. You do not bring a knife to a gunfight. It's that simple. Even if you were to take into account the horribly inaccurate firearm that Ezio has in his possession, Sam would still out-gun him by miles. Literally. He could just put a bullet through his brain pan from a comfortably sniping position and never have to worry getting anywhere near Ezio.

We all know that our dear assassins like to strut around in the open. :D

/shrug.

Stupid question, I mean its completely one sided. Sam has guns, Ezio doesnt. If it was who would win in a bare knuckle boxing fight, then I might vote. And still not choose stupid question.

Ezio. hands off. sam finds him in his house shoots at him but misses ezio sneaks around the room {the whole room is decended in darkness} sam grabs his head and throws ezio in some glass shattering ezios mouth also blood flows deep in to his assassin outfit. sam turns the light on and pulls out his deagle scanning the room for ezio. Ezio curses him by saying ''vai a farti fottere sam'' {go fuck yourself sam} Ezio silently appears from behind him and injects him in the face with 5 shots of deadly poison. Sam wearily staggers back his vison blurred he lifts up the gun in his trembling hands , ezio grabs it pulls the trigger and pops a bullet in sams head.

Done.
