I'm getting a new game and I can't decide? I like them both a lot, but I'm having a hard time choosing which one to buy! I know they are different games, but I want to know which game you prefer so I can get an answer on which to get.

I am assuming this is for PC. With Fallout 3, you get a huge amount of content, a very good game, and of course mods. This was the thing that made Fallout 3 completely amazing for me. You do not know how awesome it is to wander around the downtown DC area in full Space Marine Armor and with a group of fellow Space Marines, call in airstrikes when you meet a lot of enemies at once, and snipe targets from several miles away with a. 50 cal sniper rifle.
Fallout 3. I loved prototype but its only really fun as quick time waster. So it depends how much time you have to play really

Fallout 3. And with the GOTY edition, you get all the DLC for 10 bucks more than just a normal copy of Fallout 3. Your friends who already had the game will hate you, and in the end, isn't that what we all want?

Umm, play one of the greatest games of all time (at least for me) or play a second hand Infamous...hmmm?
Fallout 3, and dear gods why is this even a discussion? Second best game of 2008 in my view (and in this forum's threads last year, the consensus GotY) vs. a game that isn't anywhere near that quality level? Zoiks.
This is made all the more stark by the fact that Fallout 3 has a GotY edition that includes all the sublime, awesome DLC (even Operation Anchorage has value if you didn't have to pay $10 for what basically amounted to three hours of gameplay and a stealth suit. The stealth suit, though---maybe I would pay $10 for that.)
