Loved it all. Especially the quirky moments such as the "Antagonizer". Brilliant game. Fun, funny and compelling. Only annoyance was when VAT's sometimes hit a wall but I only put that in for a criticism to be here >_>

It was good but the combat sucked. The FPS bit was just VATS in real time, where you had to aim as well as have some luck..(even if you are aimed at someone's head the VATS percentages still count..)
Not true. Was a different system calculating both. Proof of this is found with the multi-beam weapons.

the game was ok ,not great but ok ,the bugs in the game were annoying , the lack of dlc for the ps3 was wrong , the ending was not an issue ,not being able to continue after the main story didn't bother me but the biggest pain was the level cap that drove me quackers ,

While the games main sotry is short, you havent seen a quarter of the map if you did only those quests. Theres hours of stuff left to do. imo, you should do the main quest line untill your able to wear power armor and then ignore it and start exploring the wastes!

I really enjoyed it, but I was level twenty in no time and had pretty much every unique weapon I needed as well as an awesome armor, so there really wasn't any sense of accomplishement at the end.

Loved it. In my opinion it was probably the best game of '08. I liked the story, the gameplay, the choice of weapons. I'm not sure about a couple of the poll options though, ... because it was too short? Yes it can be completed quickly, but you can make it any length you want to, and now with the addition of the DLC's its even longer and the latest one allows you to free-roam after the end of the main story.

to be honest i loved fallout 3 and i loved it even more when the DLC came out, ye it might not live up to the popularity of the originals but it was still an excellent game and well worth the money.

I thought it created a great mood and atmosphere. I felt it got pretty close to true horror at certain times and it felt to me like my character was truly unique. I know this cause I played it through twice and both my characters felt like different individuals entirely. I was a little dissapointed by the ending and it could be a little buggy at times but what bothered me the most was the 20 level cap. But despite these minor complaints I think it might be my favorite game of all time thus far.

Didn't like it. Wish they'd have spent the time on ES:5, I could be playing it by now.

Its not fallout 3 feelingswise but its an awsome game though.

I hated it at first because I didnt feel like getting into it, now Ive put allmost 100hours in and im halfway the game or so.

Combat is a little clunky, manual aiming is sluggish as hell and the s.p.e.c.i.a.l. system is kind of unclear for new people.
Writing is overall pretty good, voiceacting could use more voiceactors but is generally well done. faces look dead though.
Exploring is awsome, and since im the most EVIL person ever I have alot of ways to hummiliate my opponents (Sneak, pickpocket, sneakcrit them, eat them)

I doubt ill replay it alot, maybe once as a good guy.

I personaly loved it, the game was long enough and had enough to do to keep me looking at my screen. And yes... It is one of my favourite games of all times.

I could go on, but won't.

In my restless dreams,
I see that place
Capitol Wasteland.
Bethesda promised they'd take me
there again someday.
And they did not disappoint.

I liked Fallout very much, since it remedied many of Oblivion`s downsides. Plus, it had an excellent atmosphere. However, unlike Oblivion, Fallout had no parts which particularly stuck to mind. There were no particularly briliant quests like with Oblivion (such as those of the Dark Brotherhood). Also, Fallout had less freedom of choice since, unlike with Oblivion, there was not much to do outside the main questline.

Overall, I enjoyed Fallout 3. However, it certainly does have room for improvement.

I loved it, but none of the battles were especially challenging. As long as you didn't try any full-on retardation such as taking on a group of Super Mutant Masters when you were level 4 or below, dying was fairly rare and there were very few battles that couldn't be won through sheer dogged determination. There needed to be more enemies that had fewer weaknesses, like a sentry bot that would be immune to pulse weapons or a Deathclaw with a ranged attack or snipers that would actually snipe you.

Often in RPG games I'm impressed by how much NPCs and enemies are like the player character(s), as far as stats and such go. However, in Fallout 3 much of that element is missing and I think that the game would be much more challenging and interesting if enemies were more like the player (i.e. able and liable to stealth you instead of charging in, can place mines and hide, try to use actual AI-born tactics instead of programmed-in behaviors).

PS3 still gets the DLC but we first get to see which ones suck.
