Id say yes but there is one thing wrong with it.

No FEV in england. America was the only place in the world that had FEV, and without FEV theres none of the awesome monsters we've come to know and love, deathclaws, super mutants, centaurs etc.

No, the food in England is already terrible, nuclear war war would put an end to fresh ingredients and imported food, causing the quality of the already terrible food to deminish, at which point people would refuse to eat leading to the starvation of everyone in England.

you know, i'd kind of like to see the fallout world from the Chinese perspective, see if they got as badly raped as bad as the U.S.

Without doubt yes. The Underground, Big Ben, London Bridge, Wembly Stadium, would all make ideal ruins to explore. Plus What else in the world would be cooler than a ghoul companion with an East Londoner accent?

Nothing wrong with a big serving of toad in the hole and bubble 'n' squeek. Or curry for that matter.

I can just see the food descriptions for the game now...<enter Dwarfman's dreamscape>

-Molerat and kidney pie
-Ploughmans Lunch instead of Caravaneers Lunch
-Battered Mirelurk and chips
-Shepards Pie (Replace brahmin with mutated Hereford)
-Death Claw black pudding
-Pack of Lamb Marsala (Replaces Salsbury Steak)
-Packets of Tea ( Gotta have a cuppa afore giving them muties whatfor!)
-Worcestoshire Sauce

Jeez I'm hungry now, whats in the fridge!

Fallout has already taken place in the UK... At least in Grimsby
You sir, are so right. I might be Australian, but I've been there and never want to return.

Yeah, I'm going to have to agree with some earlier posters: the whole ambiance of the Fallout series is a parody of 1950s America. Everything from the billboards to the Vault Boy are this ongoing parody (remember, Fallout is a COMEDIC series, despite its dark moments).

Also, remember that the makers really want to focus in on a small area. The first two games were set in California, and moving to DC for FO3 was a -huge- jump for them, and the studios admitted they were really happy to get to come back to more familiar territory for FO:NV, since they got to bring up old groups like the NCR.

You don't have nearly as many guns in public hands over there so I don't think the UK would become as lawless as the US would be.

Oh..OKay. Well Toad in the Hole is a baked product, chefly consisting of a bread batter - much like Yorkshire pudding - with sausages, leeks and other yummy stuff mixed into it.

Bubble 'n' squeek is a vegetable dish, where you get potato mash and cooked vegetables like cabbage, peas carrots and make a pattie out them. You then season and fry them in a pan till golden brown. MMMMMmmmm!

The whole point of Fallout is the 50's Americana. It's their schtick. You can't have a Fallout game that's not in the States, it just won't feel like Fallout.

That said, something with a similar sense of humor and setting would be kinda awesome set in London or Moscow or something.

I think that's where the whole myth of crappy British food comes from; Their wacky culinary names. I want to know which English peasant decided he'd name his dessert Spotted Dick!

I think there would be better potential for Australia: as one of the two existing countries in this world that can survive on its own resources independently I could imagine a game being based about the continuation of (and the struggle to achieve) agriculture.
Also, who doesn't want to see a mutant kangaroo?
