There are a few threads like this about. I intend for this to be more informative though.

Basically, sell the game to me, or others. Which ever one you prefer, write up maybe a paragraph explaining why you picked that and what it's advantages are.

If your feeling particularly writey, you could then even go on to explain why you would NOT choose the other option.

So, discuss, argue, kill, loot and pillage the land of ideas!

Hang on, let me just grab my flame shield....

Fallout: New Vegas is just more Fallout 3, except with a few new toys and a new map. It also happens to be buggy as hell, especially if you're on the 360, and the ending is supposedly fairly "meh." And it IS just another FPS, which, however unique it may be, eventually gets tiresome.

I can't really say much about Fable 3, as it is not out yet, but from what I've heard it certainly sounds promising.

Fallout New Vegas is more of the same sure, but that's more good, I have serious doubts on Fable 3, after I bought the first 2 expecting so much and getting so little, but that's just me.

Want to buy Both option...

On one hand I'm not that excited over Fable 3 after being incredibly disappointed over number 2. On the other hand New Vegas is as buggy as hell.

Fable 3 first, then get New Vegas later is my final answer.

I enjoyed all of the previous Fables and Fallouts ( Even ranging back to the good ol' PC titles ). So, I'm looking forward to both. Even though Fallout 3 was buggy and had many major faults, the game still held my attention for hundreds of hours. The exploration and immersion the game offered was just unprecedented. However, Fables previous titles all held me for just aslong. The world's in each game were detailed and enjoyable to discover. The characters actually had a personality and it also had a very deep story and narrative. So from what has been shown off for Fable 3, we can expect to see more off the same.

I'm very much going to be buying both games, as an RPG fan, these are just right up my street, so to speak. I really would recommend that you atleast try them both ( Rent, borrow, or pick up pre-owned for a reasonable price. ) Just so you can experience them. Both of these franchises have evolved as I grew up, so to me their a part of my gaming experience.

Just my two cents ;)

Can I say both? I've been playing New Vegas and am quite enjoying it, and I'm looking forward (but not holding my breath for) a good showing from Fable 3.

The Fable series has a history of failing to deliver on promises.

Considering how alike the first two were and how much hype Peter put into them both, I have very low expectations for the third installment.
I've always said that the Fable series would have a much better reception if Molyneux had his mouth stapled shut.

Well I feel I cant say which one yet because I've only played Fallout NV (which is awesome a little buggy but working good enough). I mean I can judge Fable 3 on the past of its promises and such but that wouldn't be right... right?

So a cookie please!? ^___^

I would say Fallout: New Vegas. It has the seem general feel as Fallout 3, with FPS and Vats and such, but it brings back a few things from the first 2 games which were by Black isle Studios, which was a good move on their part. As for Fable, I would have to agree with everyone else and say I was disappointed with the first 2.

The specifics of the cookie were never given!
Surely this man would not do anything evil to my cookie...would he?

What? No, no... well... I mean if the price was right...

but no, I fear you misunderstand me; we were not told what kind of cookie it was, how fresh, what ingredients! Plain or chocolate dough? Chocolate chip, nut, or some ungodly fruit-based concoction? How large of a cookie, how deep?

without this information a vote for the cookie is a vote for meaninglessness!
