Poll: Fallout: New Vegas vs Fable III

I can't make any conclusions yet since I haven't been able to get a hold of Fallout: New Vegas and because Fable III isn't out yet. I do intend to buy them both, though.

Same here. I don't know what to buy first though as I can't get them at the same time, I'd had to wait to get the other in December. F:NV just got an Xbox Update I think, I checked the Bethesda forums so perhaps that will fix some of the problems, however I don't know which to buy still

I thought Obsidian did FO:NV, not Bethesda?

They did, but Bethesda are doing the update.

You cant even compare the two IMO, They are both completely different games. Fallout you gotta figure out your own way through stuff and how to accomplish quests etc, Fable 3 gives you a guideline on where to go, and I suppose tips for how to make it an easier way to accomplish what needs to be done.

Fable 3, I shit you not i have froze twice in fallout new vegas, got stuck between two rocks and got stuck in a wall but managed to get back out after a few seconds. problem was it was released to early, if they did work on bugs before release id hate to see how it was before. It would be much better if Betheseda made it instead of Obsideon if it had just spent a few more months in development instead of rushing it out probably so they could release it before fable 3 arrived it could have been something great.

Hokay, just as a notice. This isn't really a "VS" thread, more of a comparison of views, backed up by reasoning?

OT: I will be getting both, I just can;t decide what order? Both look really promising and seeing as I stopped listening to molyneux a long time ago, I haven't built up a large level of hype for Fable III, hence my desire to buy the game being on the fact it actually looks decent!

Although, Fallout 3 was a straight buy, because, hell, I've spent more time playing 1, 2 and Tactics than any other game I own! So, New Vegas would have been the obvious number 1 if it wasn't for the worry of it being buggy and more of an expansion than that of a full stand alone gam.

I AM A MASSSSSSSSSIIIIVVVVVEEEEEEE fallout 3 fan. but i also love fable 2.

I chose fable just because it looked so DAM COOL.
the trailer really made me chose. Vegas' was a robot and a dead body. nuff said.
Fable 3 had the chicken running away and stuff and gave you a little info on the story to come.
Plus fable 3 looks more promising and giving you more for your money with DLC already coming in collectors edition. I also heard stories of how glitchy fallout was so that put me off aswell.
