About 2 years ago i made a thread on here discussing the monetary system of Fallout 3. Caps.
How many caps did you have? What did you spend most caps on? Was the system they'd put in any good?
The general consensus was, of course, that you could after a few hours acquire so many caps that you never had to worry ever again for money and caps became meaningless mostly due to cheap items and availability of anything you'd want to buy and caps in general.
However in Fallout New Vegas there have been a few changes. NCR and Legion Coins. Increased prices (Buying everything in the gun runners store would take 100k caps!!). Increased cost of repairs. Merchants with more caps for bartering. More merchants. More in-depth crafting to produce what you need. Gambling. Hardcore Mode.
So Escapist, are you rich New Vegas socialites or are you struggling to scrape caps together for your next buffout fix?
