It depends. On the whole I would prefer to be rich, but if I was famous for something I value, then I would rather that.
I pick Fortune. I would pick fame, as it could lead to fortune. But might as well be safe and pick the money to begin with.
Fortune, because quite frankly even if the options were Fame or a box of rocks, I'd choose the box of rocks first. I don't want media attention, it's the most powerful double-edged sword in existence. The power to give you everything you want then strip it all away, plus your dignity and reputation. Who would choose that? :\

Of the two I would prefer to be rich than famous (I have more use for money than I have for fame).
Also, I would hate to have my private life constantly be invaded by goodamned journalists (you know who you are) and paraded about for every chav and bored housewife to examine and critisise.

Being famous would be hell for me. Having money would be heaven for me. Hmm wonder which I picked?
I would pick fortune and use all of it for crazy antics to get me famous (which is what I really want); I'm pretty sure I am an attention whore.
