did you ever get to finish it?
would you say you enjoyed what time you had together?
Yeah, I finished it after the patch came out a month ago. I enjoyed it, it's just that it almost felt like bad karma, all the stuff that kept me from finishing/enjoying the game. I'll probably play through it again some day, and enjoy it a lot more.

All I'll say is this; don't be ashamed to set the difficulty to easy (there's plenty of enemies to make up for it), and buy the MLG as soon as possible.

I enjoyed it a lot! It's one of the few games that have a really open world.

ive heard that the enemy ai is terible ive also heard its pretty good but you will run into the odd guard that just stands and gets shot and does nothing but its a very rare ocurence

It was fun. A good game, but a bit too long/repetitive, and the combat mechanics weren't as good as they could have been.

It also annoyed me that I had to play for both sides of the damn conflict, since I prefer loyalty. Interestingly enough, though, I haven't had that problem with GTA Chinatown Wars.

Anyway, it was really fun playing with fire. >_>
arson: americas pastime
i also have a problem with loyalty thats why i dont play alot of multiplayer unless its something were im working together with my fellow gamer to defeat a mutual evil
like nazi zombies in cod5 or l4d

I utterly loved it, but then again I like games which offers a sense of immersion - if you loved Morrowind or Stalker, then I would heartily recommend it, but if your only in FPSs for the run shoot kill teabag routine you should go for something more mainstream - Far Cry 2 is really good by my standards, but I'll admit its an aquired taste

If you enjoyed the original Farcry at all, you'll probably have some mixed feelings.
The only thing similar at all is it is a FPS.
More of a run and gun, practically no stealth at all.
Everyone continually attacking you is mildly irritating.
But overall it was fairly decent, just not what I was looking for.

Meh, it was ok, a solid shooter but very uninteresting and was in dire need of a fast travel system.

Farcy 2 sucks, let me get something out of the way real quick. What The Hell does it have to do with any other farcry?
Another reason I don't like it, why can't you sneak around, or why can't you walk 8 feet without being shot at?
It's just an awful game. Also where did the story go? At the beginning you were supposed to take someone out after that you just did random things.

There were buses you could take to each side of the map.

Edit: Oops sorry, double post.

...What left a bitter taste in my mouth is that it has a no turning back point. Get a mission late in the game? No more side quests. No more mucking about. Once you reach the end, the save is obviously worthless. Argh! Annoys me even now...
It did say that you wouldn't be able to return after you entered the area. It was a popup screen and stated that 'there was no returning.'

OT:

I've been playing it for an entire month now. Perhaps it's just me, but I found it awfully addictive.

Its definately a complex love/hate relationship. thats parts of the game which are so overwhelmingly bad I cannot say truthfully it is a good game but theres some real original features and gameplay in there also.

The way using multiplayer is designed and done is 100% retarded.

Aah yes, you see that's how uninterested I was with it, I couldn't remember the buses. :p

It's not that bad. It definitely felt like a walking sim at some points though. It takes FOREVER to get across that big ass map.

Every bone in my body wanted to love it, I wanted it to be the best thing in the year however, like many other people on the PC it crashes frequently. That's on top of boring game play and a story that I didn't remotely care about cause the acting and characters were just dull.
