I don't really like either type when taken the extreme . Shambling ones are laughable and fast ones are ridiculous. I prefer zombies to walk quickly, like the serial-killer antagonists in horror movies - they never seem to exert themselves to keep up, but the good-guys can never seem to outrun them.

I like the theory in Max Brooks' book. Zombies will only go as fast as humanly possible. The virus isn't an enhancer.
wow the 18th person i know of paranoid enough to read the zombie survival guide...cool
Heh, who wouldn't want to read a book that has zombies and was written by Mel Brooks' son!?
i know i'm gonna regrent this.who's Mel Brooks?
Mel Brook's is the creator of such movies as, "Space Balls", "Blazing Saddles", and "Robin Hood: Men in Tights"
Wow....what a friendly board. Any other board i've been on would've torn the guy to pieces for asking that.
*ahem*
Anyway back on topic.......I've never actually read the zombie survival guide or World War Z but I'd love to. The only thing is i don't know if you can get them here in ireland

Eh, I don't have enough energy to troll right now.
I am sure you can get them through online shopping. Would be worth it. The writing is well done and legit.

i can see that it can be a mix of both fast and slow, after the death then revival of the zombie stuff your body is the same as it was ish when you died so what ever injury will be taken into effect if leg wise cus you'll be on the floor so being abel to get up.
so at first being abel to run as fast as you allready can then as decomposition happens then slows down into a walk thens tumbel then cwal then into a rotting mother fucker
