I was a big Family Guy fan early on, but felt it went downhill after the fourth season. Likewise, Sealab 2021 took a dive when Tornado Shanks showed up. So.... Homestar Runner.

For me it's a tie between either Futurama or The Venture Brothers. Both of them beat anything else on this list hands down.

Futurama/South Park
Thank you Sir. Me too.
This. For TV shows. Once you get into the world of film it's a different story. I encourage anybody who likes animation to check out Mike Judge's(office space) and Don Herdzfelt's (rejected) The Animation Show. It's a yearly collection of theatrical animated shorts. And it's pretty damn awesome. Also I consider Wall-E adult and it's pretty friggin' hard to top that.

Ren and Stimpy was easily the best.

It was delightfully dark and twisted but in a very subtle way (at first glance you'd think it was a kid's cartoon).

Also, why is the Simpsons on the list? It has the occasional adult reference or gag but isn't really adult oriented or mature (neither is Futurama).

Futurama, Venture Brothers, and the Boondocks. I wouldn't call any of these adult-oriented either.

Was I the only one who thought this was referring to Hentai when I saw the title?

South Park

Why did you miss one of the top 3, and put on a bunch of random stuff?
