I will always and forever shout my love for Moral Orel from the rooftops! I get that everyone has different tastes, but I was a little heartbroken to see so many people here list Moral Orel as one of their least favorites. My guess would be that they don't come from a background like that. Watched Moral Orel is a surreal sort of experience for me because on the one hand, it strikes me as an achingly real depiction of what religious life is like, while on the other hand, it of course depicts completely ridiculous situations. I think it's the most fascinating show I've ever seen.ThePostalDude said:Moral Orel

best sceane in show ever!
OK, after I posted my own favorite, I went back and read your post, which I had initially glanced at and dismissed for disparaging Moral Orel. Now that I read the whole thing, though, I just gotta give you credit, because I actually agree with your assessment on literally everything but Moral Orel, and even that you get partial credit because I agree it got better at the end. So, you know, good job!Saarai-fan said:Snip.
Moral Orel is ok with me. Just ain't in my top favorites. They had some clever plots and jokes in their first and second seasons, but for those two seasons the majority of their episodes just weren't enjoyable to me. It wasn't until their last season that they got good. But if this was a topic about my favorite episodes from Adult Swim shows, God's Chef, Holy Visage, Be Fruitful and Multiply, Praying, Presents for God, Orel's Movie Premiere, Innocence, Dumb, and the Honor episodes from Moral Orel would be in my favorite Adult Swim episodes. Moral Orel isn't necessarly bad in my opinon. In fact, I am probably wrong to put it lower than Metalocalypse, so it can go to top of my least liked Adult Swim programming, with Superjail still at the bottom being the one I think is the most terrible, as it just doesn't fit in my opinon with their comedy shows.MimsySnark said:OK, after I posted my own favorite, I went back and read your post, which I had initially glanced at and dismissed for disparaging Moral Orel.
