I had a lot of fun with Metal Gear Solid.
The second one was also fun.
Hard to choose between the two.
Probably the second one I enjoyed more. So that can be my favourite.
I can't decide between Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. I loved both but I guess I'll go for MGS3 since Metal Gear Solid is a bit old now.
Metal Gear Solid, currently playing through it again, I've just rappelled down the communication tower! It's probably my favourite game ever, (next to Hogs Of War) it has a brilliant plot, brilliant script, brilliant gameplay, and none of the real over-the-top weirdness of the later games which started to grate on me.
Its REALLY close for me but personally i got to go with mgs4 only because it wrapped up the whole saga insuch an epic fasion. But 1 and snake eater are really damn close. They are all similar but yet distinct in there own rights.
Well, I can tell you that out of all the basketball players in the NBA, who is the best. Games are different though. I say that Snake Eater is the greatest of them all because it was more important/influential/revolutionary for it's time than any other MGS game.
Metal Gear Solid got me into the franchise, and I love every minute of it. MGS2 I enjoyed a lot, as I did MGS4, but my favourite game in the entire franchise is easily Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Playing as Big Boss felt awesome, and the whole camouflage, food and medicine systems felt perfect to use. It also has my two favourite boss battle of the series, against the End and the final boss.
The original Metal Gear Solid. Loved number 2 too. 3 on the other hand, I couldn't get into, didn't like the jungle environment. 4 is on my list of games to finish playing.
