The finnish version of baseball. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pes%C3%A4pallo

I've also got a soft spot for hockey, even though I no longer follow it (except olympics and world championships) and haven't played it in years.

To play, it would have to be doubles tennis. Sure it's only a two-person team, but it counts. I guess it shows how little I like working in groups if my preferred team sport consists of me and one other person

To watch, I can't go past my native AFL.

I myself love badminton, but due to the limited options, I have to count it as "other."

My favorite sports to watch are American Football and Baseball, due to the strategy involved.

But when it actually comes to playing a sport, I prefer Football/Soccer and Badminton.

Considering most interesting sports don't get much attention in my country, I'm going to have to go with basketball.
I think I'd like football (or what we call soccer) if I ever actually watched it, but that's difficult as it gets almost zero media attention here.

...Does dodgeball count? THat was the only "sport" I ever really liked or was even slightly good at (only the "dodge" part).

As far as I'm concerned, yes, it does count as a team sport, and I remember having some fun playing it. Unfortunately they often put us in a cramped gym when my class was doing it and that made dodging extra difficult.

Cricket and Rugby are (in my opinion) the greatest team sports ever devised. I have played rugby for about 9 years (though I have missed about a seasons worth due to an injury). I play mainly for the first XV though I'm happy to join in with the 2nd XV if they need players. I've also played for my county a few times and for Dorset & Wilts once.

Cricket, I play for the 2nd XI (though I think I'm better at cricket than I am at rugby) as a bowler and have played for about 6 years now. I do play for the 1sts occasionally but more often that not I stay with the 2nds.

Badminton :D Not trolling but i do like it. Tennis but way more intense cause there way less court space to play it on. Sure you dont get those 100km/hr shots but actually played a lot faster compared to tennis. Plus i play it.
Oh, I agree. I love badminton too. If I was naming my top five favorite sports overall, badminton is up there, both to play and to watch.
