Same. First character I used was Brick with shotguns and I always chose the stronger shotgun over any loss of accuracy because I had enough health to be practically down their nostrils until they were dead.Launcelot111 said:I went with the shotguns with absurd damage but crap accuracy and just killed everything from five feet away. Elemental considerations were sadly never a factor in this strategy
Yet Hasbro changed the name of Slag the (stegosaurus dinobot) to Slug for that same reason in Transformers: Fall of Cybertron (If not sooner.)The Lunatic said:Slag.
I'm British, the name amuses me.
Mordecai, Yes they did http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WSvTqfmv3DE I don't recall the reason for the switch though. I was a little dishearted by the change at first too, but now I find it hard to imagine seeing it the other way for comedic purposes at least.Shadowcreed said:I remember playing it with a fiery sniper rifle. I'm a sucker for sniping so I went with the bird guy (i have no clue whatsoever as regards to his name).
Shame really, I liked borderlands but I recall being far more excited about it when it wasn't realesed yet. If i'm not mistaken there were some trailers before release date showing off the game, where it was with genuine graphics, not the cartoon style of game that we know now. I don't really think this game fits that graphics style all that well. Its not bad really, it's just that the style doesn't correspond with the game from my perspective. I'd much rather have some sci-fi high fidelity graphic emphasis. I guess it's personal taste.
I dont know i feel that the cartoony graphic style has done it a disservice. I for one could have been far more engaged with the characters and quests if they had a more realistic approach to them. Maybe its for the best. At least now I didn't get all that disappointed with the ending because I wasn't that into the story. What story, anyway? I mean come on xDLucane said:snip
I love electric too. It's pretty much the only element I have sued so I might be missing out though...The Lazy Blacksmith said:No love for electric? Everything has shields, and lightening downs them in one hit...
