...Tough call. I can't say that I liked any of them better than the others, though I always found myself cheering on Mal and Simon when they got into fights.

Still, Shepherd Book takes AT LEAST second place due in part to this quote:

I agree. If I had to pick someone that I most identify with it's Mal. Mostly because I end up in the leader role with my friends (meaning I'm almost always the DM for D&D games).

OT: Wash is pretty good, but I'm going to go with River, just because she is crazy yet awesome.

Plus, Wash is disproportionately masculine and hawaiian shirts are infinately better than childish breasts.
