I used to be a beer person, as well, but recently I moved to Whiskey town. I dunno, I just felt the need for a change. Still drink beer, tho.

I Voted other, because Cider.

It's been given a really bad press over the years and yes their is White Lighning rubbish, BUT, there is also a large Craft beer/cider market in the UK and you can get some fantastic micro brew stuff. I really like home brewed Ciders. They can get to like 10/12% still drink smooth. They have on occasion made me see things too, :D which is always fun.
Have you had Kopparberg? That stuff's beautiful :D

My favourites are Southern Comfort and Port (not together... I don't think.... now I need to try that).

I drink a lot of vodka too, because its great in orange juice, and fairly cheap.

I'm a fan of a mixed drink called a golden cadillac. it's like a creamy frappe of boozy deliciousness.

I prefer vodka, even though I generally mix it with fruit juices and the like due to my sweet tooth. I also enjoy fruity martinis, and sometimes I'll have wine (white, red, plum, raspberry, it doesn't matter, I like them all). I also enjoy mead.

Really? No "wine" option and yet both Whiskey AND Scotch? Don't give me shit about how different they are 'cause they're pretty fucking similar when compared to wine.

Anyway, if you hadn't guessed, it's Wine. I generally prefer Red, specifically Cabernet Sauvignon, but I also like most white and rosé too. It's not me thinking I'm awesome because I'm all sophisticated as well, I like to down that shit. One bottle of wine gets me the right amount of drunk to go out. Not sober enough to get bored easily and not drunk enough to make me look an idiot. I then usually proceed to keep drinking and tip this scale slightly further towards the retarded end of the spectrum.

Dude scotch and whiskey are different. They are made in completely different ways. Kinda like champagne and wine.
And couldn't add a wine option cuz you can only give so many options in the poll
You do realise that scotch is Scottish whiskey right, i.e. a whiskey. The only major distinctions between whiskeys imo are normal whiskey i.e. scotch or irish, then bourbon or rye whiskey. Sure have different categories for bourbon and whiskey, but scotch and whiskey? thats like having "cars" and "Nissan" as separate items in a list.

Beer. If I can afford it, I'll buy myself some fancy craft beers and broaden my palate. Black Sheep and Krabbie's Ginger Ale are particularly nice. Bishop's Finger is lovely as well, though the name probably has some bitter connotations in Ireland.

Can't beat a Guinness, though. Provided it's not the dregs of the barrel.

Just give me a good G&T and I'm a happy bunny. Seriously, pretty much the only alcoholic beverage I actually really like.

Rum. Specifically spiced rum. I enjoy sitting down to my games with a mug of hot grog (boiled water, a touch of cinnamon, and a shot or two of rum).
