Beers, particularly Asian or European beers. The stuff my country produces is generally awful and only purchased for when you dont have enough money for decent tasting drinks.

various lagers, with Carlsberg possibly being my favorite.

I want to penetrate the world of delicious mixed drinks.

Cider.

Specifically the stronger stuff, like Jack Ratt, Henry Westons or scrumpy. I also want to try some Applejack.

I love craft beers. IPA's are the best(so bitterly good), many awesome Ale's to be drank. Some Sours, some Stouts, and some Pilsners can be heaven too. Yellow, fizzy, watery beer has it's place(drinking for drinkings sake), but please people for the love of your taste buds try some full flavored craft beers. Some of you will never drink the same way again!

It depends a whole lot on the reason I am drinking. If I am thirsty or having a nice meal I find that a good bottle of Erdinger is my favourite beverage (that would mean beer).
If I am having shrimps then I must say that a bottle of white wine is mandatory.
Cheese and crackers a fine bottle of red wine.
Watching TV and relaxing I'll take a glass of cognac and a cup of coffee. First a sip of cognac, then a sip of coffee. It makes me feel warm in my chest. I also like to have some cognac around Christmas because of the mood.
For just getting drunk I usually go with rum.

Vodka. I used to like cider best but it is so sweet that I get more violent hangovers from it so I haven't had any for a long time. Loving my Vodka though.

Three drinks:
Liquor 43 & Orange Juice
Malibu & Red Bull
Beer

If I want to kill myself, I'll end the night with two or three shots of Tequila. But I normally don't.

Really? No "wine" option and yet both Whiskey AND Scotch? Don't give me shit about how different they are 'cause they're pretty fucking similar when compared to wine.

Anyway, if you hadn't guessed, it's Wine. I generally prefer Red, specifically Cabernet Sauvignon, but I also like most white and rosé too. It's not me thinking I'm awesome because I'm all sophisticated as well, I like to down that shit. One bottle of wine gets me the right amount of drunk to go out. Not sober enough to get bored easily and not drunk enough to make me look an idiot. I then usually proceed to keep drinking and tip this scale slightly further towards the retarded end of the spectrum.

Whiskey or beer.
I drink beer on occasion, but there is nothing like relaxing with a nice glass of some high class whiskey.

Alcohol causes bloating and organ damage. No thanks.
So does H2O. Everything in moderation, even moderation.

On topic though, I always shudder when Bud is referred to as someone's favourite beer. It just shows how limited their realm of experience is.

I enjoy a glass of good, robust Cabernet Sauvignon (red wine) with a nice steak dinner.
I prefer Barbãr (a beer that uses honey in its fermentation, reminiscent of mead) if I can sit and enjoy it and Jupiler as your anywhere, any reason, catch-all alcoholic beverage.

I never quite understood the whole spirits side of alcohol, myself. Gets you drunk too quickly to enjoy and most of them taste like a chemical plant. That and one *very* dismal encounter with tequila kind of soured me on the whole thing.
