J or W, so long as the leveling system is deep and customizable.

Also, RTS is my least favorite, and the genre could not exist as far as I'm concerned.

I like FPS games mostly. I probably would like RPGs if I could find one with great visuals and gameplay; usually they seem to have one or the other, but not both.

Hmmm...It looks like my type is in the lead by a landslide. With all the talk & topics over the years, I thought for sure shooters would come out on top.

I like TBSRPGs, RTSRPGs, & MMORPGs. Almost damned if I'll play anything that doesn't force me to do a lot of reading & let me smash shit with a sword.

Do I have to have a favorite "type"? can I just enjoy most games? If I had to pick... (about tem minutes later) shooters I guess.

I'm guessing you're either confusing TBS with jRPG or you've never played Age of Wonders, Civilization, Fire Emblem, Steel Panthers, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Master of Orion, Warlords, X-COM, Jagged Alliance, Alpha Centauri, Silent Storm, Heroes of Might & Magic, Final Liberation, Master of Magic, Disciples, Galactic Civilizations, Elven Legacy, Advance Wars, or anything like those. Because you don't really seem to have a clue what you're talking about.
