Yeah, bands like Placebo or Muse are a member of the Alternative Genre. Not so much msue anymore, but Placebo definitely are.

Meh. I looked it up, and they're both Rock bands.

Maybe they're different from other Rock bands, but Rock is such a retardedly broad genre anyway that two bands can both play Rock music and yet be absolutely nothing alike.
