The poll needs Real-Time Strategy.

Company of Heroes, Dawn of War, the Total War franchise, Endwar. I vote for them.
i forgot to put them in because i dont own a PC, so i dont play them much, although i do love some of them. (supreme commander FTW!!!)

Aww c'mon! No RTS?

Age of Empires and Starcraft beat all of those.
sorry bout that, knew i was forgettin something
A common mistake. I find that good RTS games get less attention from the main gamer crowd.
ive also never owned a pc, so i never play RTSs, although halo wars looks promising in terms of addictive online play, and it seems to have a very good setup for console RTS
I resist the temptation to go into console-RTS bashing mode.
By what I've heard, Halo Wars is suprisingly pleasing to people who dislike RTS games. I've also heard a lot of positive feedback about the simplicity (ugh) of Halo Wars. So, if you like simple RTS games and don't have a decent PC, I guess Halo Wars is a good choice.
Hmmm... I love PC RTSs, but I just never play them. Age of Mythology and Age of Empires are fun games, and Supreme Commander is awesome. I've just been looking at my options on consoles for RTSs, since I don't have the cash to drop on a new computer right now (I've got a Mac) and I have to say, it doesn't look too pretty. Stormrise, a game that was supposed to "change" things for console RTSs ended up being a colossal failure, and every other console RTS is a port of a much better PC version. Once I start to see the price of Halo Wars drop, I think I may pick it up, because it seems pretty interesting, and while it might not be an incredibly deep RTS game akin to an RTS on the PC, I hope that it will satisfy my craving for an RTS while a scrounge together the cash for a nice PC.
Alternatively, Starcraft, Age of Empires, and Age of Mythology don't take an advanced PC. Ours is considered mediocre as of 2003, aka really bad. Good thing, though, my all time favorite RTS games take very little PC power. Take a look at Starcraft's system requirements.
Windows Vista, XP or 2000
* 90 MHz Pentium or equivalent
* 16 MB of RAM
* SVGA video card that supports DirectDraw at 640 x 480 resolution, 256 colors
* 80 MB HD space
* 4X CD-ROM drive

Mac OS X 10.3.9 or higher.
* PowerMac or Compatible
* 16 MB of RAM plus Virtual Memory (32 MB RAM recommended)
* Video card that supports 640x480 display in 256 colors
* 80 MB HD space
* 4X CD-ROM drive

Multiplayer:

* Low-latency, active Internet connection rated at 28.8 Kbps or faster.
* LAN play requires IPX or TCP/IP connection.
Nevertheless, it's a great game, and the Age games take little more.

I LoL'd at the "Wii Games" option.. haha

I like RPGs, not necessarily the typical Final Fantasy sort, but any game that has in-depth characters, advancement and customization. Options Johnny, give my options.
