Gee, good question. The only MMORPG I really delved into (and still play) is WoW. I gave CoX a shot and I really loved it, but the combo version wasn't available here in Holland when my trail ended and I was a bit short on cash at that moment. If it wasn't for those things, I'd probably be more into CoX.
Anyway, even for WoW I don't have a favorite class. They all have their ups and downs and that's where WoW really wins. Every class is awesome to play in certain situations.

I quiet i agree that wow is good because of a ballanced class system, but every one has a certan play style and i have yet to meet somone who truly didn't lean toward a certan class/styleDYin01 said:

Ummm all MMORPG have really the sme classes when you look at the skeletons of them.
Warrior= Paladin, knight, swordfighter etc.
Mage= Warlock, elementalists, monks, illutionist etc.
Ranger= archer, bowman, gunner, pet tamer etc.
Really who can summeize most rpg classes into these simple formuals so who should just change the poll into: Warrior

Ranger
Other

I guess that's kind of cheating, since they can do so many things well (buff, debuff, control, and self-buffed damage).
That list is flawed, anyway. Most character classes in almost anything are based on the D&D "Warrior, Expert, Arcane mage, Divine mage" set, or rather the "Defender, Expert, Artillery, and Support" set. Priest types and Mage types usualy play sufficiently differently to be listed separately.
I guess that's kind of cheating, since they can do so many things well (buff, debuff, control, and self-buffed damage).
