Ill never understand the attraction of freeman. He isn't even really a character. He has no voice, no personality. He is just a cypher, an empty shell waiting to be filled by the player. PCs in elder scrolls have as much personality as freeman.

D0g. Also I think Sheperd should start apearing on peoples lists (not aimed at OP just population in the comming future). I mena he/she is modelled in any appreance and he/she did save the universe with some of the coolest characters around.
I chose the MC because I've been living under a rock without XBOX Live, and as such, the beauty that is Halo (and the novels) have not been muddied by n00bs for me.
Freeman was pretty close, but the Half Life games are to scary for me, so I wouldn't know.
Kratos is somewhere up there as well, merely because he exhudes "Classic Greek Myth." Considering that one of my rating criteria is: "Who would you enjoy having coffee with?" Kratos kinda fails that one.
