Up wins hands down, but I also loved The Incredibles.

Up was very strong and original, it had unorthodox main characters (a chubby boyscout and an old man), charming side characters, and an interesting villain. It also had me crying within the first fifteen minutes. I think part of Brave's issue was that it followed this.

I like The Incredibles because like UP, it had a pretty unorthodox main character (an aging superhero), he's awesome because he has super powers, but at the same time, relateable because he's aging and suffers the same issues a lot of people have with that (not being able to fit in your old cloths). He solves the issue by getting help from his friends and family, that for a super hero character to do, is pretty unique.

I also liked Syndrome, again, he's a more relateable villain, he catches himself when he falls into typical villain cliches, and I really love this speech...

Oh, I'm real. Real enough to defeat you! And I did it without your precious gifts, your oh-so-special powers. I'll give them heroics. I'll give them the most spectacular heroics the world has ever seen! And when I'm old and I've had my fun, I'll sell my inventions so that *everyone* can have powers. *Everyone* can be super! And when everyone's super... no one will be.
Edna Mode also gets an honorable mention for sheer awesome.

Toy Story 3. It's still the best movie I've ever seen. I haven't seen Ratatouille or the Cars movies though, but I doubt either of them would knock TS3 off the throne.

This scene still has me in stitches every time I see it. Even funnier was that when I saw it in the theater, there were no subtitles, so I had no idea what Buzz was saying.
Seeing it in an Argentine theater, everything in the movie was subtitled BUT Buzz's Spanish lines.

Again I realise I've barely seen half of Pixar's feature films. Finding Nemo, Ratatouille, either Monsters-film... nope, only seen bits of them.

With that said, it's WALL-E for me. Without the messy final rumble it would be perfect. Still goes to my top 20 favourite movies.

To me that is WALL-E. It's one of the finest romance (in a way) film I've ever seen (My Sassy Girl is still my favourite Romance film) and that is saying alot seeing how the lowers are robot which in sterotypical terms, they suppose to have no emotion!

That's what I meant, that everything except Buzz's lines were subtitled.

Yeah but they weren't originally subtitled for added exotism. In Spanish-speaking countries it didn't matter because we all got what he was saying. Ordinarily they fix this by dubbing it in a different language though I suppose it would've been hard to do it given all the stereotypical flamboyance Buzz displays.

Tough call.

Toy Story, any of them, is an easy choice for me. It's kind of interesting how Andy is pretty much the same age as myself from the moment the first one came out up to and ending with Andy's situation in the third movie, as I was going through the exact same thing at the time. Not to mention that ending, which really hit be pretty hard as well. Only one of two movies to ever do so.

The Incredibles is also one of Pixar's best movies, which I feel really deserves a sequel far more than Finding Nemo (look it up, because that is actually happening).

A Bug's Life is a classic that I will remember forever as well.

A lot of people, at least here on the Escapist, didn't really care for it, but I loved Brave. It was nice to see a strong female lead in one of Pixar's movies for once, and I wholeheartedly enjoyed the story and experience overall.

Eh, what the hell, I voted for Toy Story.

Ratatouille is not only my favorite Pixar film, it's my favorite film. Period. It's just a huge compilation of things that I love. Pixar, Cooking, Brad Bird, Patton Oswalt, and the fact that it's also just a really good movie. I don't really have too many bad things to say about it.

However, I will say that Toy Story as a series is a strong contender for my Favorite Film Trilogy, duking it out with the 90's Gamera Trilogy.

I voted for Monsters Inc but really, it was a very close match between that, Toy Story, Wall-E, Finding Nemo and Ratatouille. All are great films in their own right, but Monsters just has the right combination of humour, emotion, original idea etc. Up and the Incredibles were both good but didn't hold me quite as much as the afore-mentioned movies.

Toy Story was the first movie I went to see at the movies when I was 5. And as much as I loved, and continue to love it, I will always have a soft spot for A Bug's life. And I am the only one who ever picks it which is a shame.

Toy Story for me, I was 5 when it came out and therefore it's perfect audience. Absolutely loved it and still do to this day. Wasn't ashamed to go see Toy Story 3 despite being in my twenties either. All of them are gold. Ratatouille, Monsters Inc and the Incredibles are all very good runners up but Toy Story just pinches it.

I love most of them, but in the end I had to go with Toy Story. Each of the three films is absolutely fantastic in its own right, which I think is pretty rare for a series, especially one where the films were so spaced out and could so easily have been disappointing.

Also the original Toy Story is the reason I was unable to get rid of any of my toys. They're all in my parents' attic somewhere and I plan on reclaiming them once I finish university this summer. I imagine I'll let my future nieces and nephews and friends' kids play with them some day. So yeah, thanks a bunch Pixar for ensuring that I will always have one more useless box of stuff to cart around when I move house :p

Toy Story. I literally grew up with it so it's fairly close to my heart.

The Incredibles. One of the top 2 or 3 superhero movies and IMHO one of the better movies out there in any genre. Unique, stylish, tense when it needs to be, just the right amount of humor, perfect soundtrack, good characters.... How does a high-side-of-average flick like Cars get sequels but not this gem??
