What do you mean by a good shooter in this topic anyway, a shooter that did it right or simply your favorite shooter?

Team Fortress 2 for me, not what you have.

My favo shooter? Max Payne 2, definitely. Great atmosphere, great story, excellent action. Nothing beats bursting into a room in slow motion with dual Ingrams blazing.

Umm none if yours. Mine is the Metal Gear Solid series. Followed my Vanquish and Metroid Prime. And if they must be the typical First Person Shooter, I would say Half Life

That is all the choices you came up with, wow your library needs to grow little.

My top proper shooters would be Painkiller and Serious Sam, just mentally awesome stuff.
And for multiplayer there is nothing that touches Unreal Tournament

I think right now, it has to the Dead Space franchise.
(You never said it had to be a FPS).

I can't really choose a FPS as my favourite. Although, I have recently bought Bulletstorm, I think it looks like a really fun game. Haven't got around to playing it yet though. But I wouldn't be surprised if I find it a lot more fun than I found Crysis 2...
