The 870 is my favorite shotgun in Bad Company 2, so that's the one I'm going to go with... even if the spread pattern tends to make a perfect outline of the guy I'm trying to kill.

Shotguns are the archetypal gun for the really powerful, really ballistic badass. It's hard to miss with the shotty at the right range, and of course, they're internationally known for zombies.
In other words, I have no idea.

But I personally go for just a good old hunting shotgun like in Killing Floor. The ole' fire twice then reload... Just gets me.

the best zombie survivors weapon, and beside a sword, the most bad assed thing to own. (also in a lot of games, black guys have shotguns, and they are the cooler characters, or the bad assed ones)

AA-12 all the way....it has a 32 round drum magazine, is fully automatic, has little to no recoil, is highly accurate and can fire f'ing grenade rounds! Whats not to love about it?

That's the second thread that comes up (would have been first had the OP actually done a search and not just assumed that he was the most original SOB in the world).

Well, to his defence, that thread has last post at 2. June, making that thread a bit over a month old... Necroing threads ain't always that popular either =/ (even though I guess you can say this is sortof the same as necroing it...)

When I clicked on this, I thought you meant ANY shotgun, real or not.
My favorite real one would have to be the 870 because of reliability and because I own one, with the AA12 after that because it has a drum mag and can shoot little shotgun grenades.

Fictional, I would have to go with the boomstick from Borderlands. It's a fully automatic rocket shotgun, what's not to like?

Why that when the AA 12 is about the same, just less recoil easyer to maintain and repair?






OT: As seen above, the AA 12 for me.

Any 32 round full auto shotgun, that can be fired in one hand is all-right in my book.

I just like the USAS-12 better.

But its exactly as powerfull and fast, a bit lighter, and made of stronger, lighter and self-lubricating materials D-:
