Yeah, so? It's a semi-auto, zero-recoil, high-accuracy gun. For me, that's enough. Plus, you can get a scope for it with a high Marksman rank. I honestly wish that my class that used it got a ghillie suit in the mix.

Barret.50cal fullmetal jacket and thermal scope, no need for a scilencer I roll loud and proud.
Also you can spray lead with it if you get jumped.

Easily the Barret. It's higher rate of fire is way more useful than slightly increased accuracy, and, if you meet an enemy at a range that you'd have to quick-scope them while holding a sniper, you're doing it wrong (always move with a side-arm out).
None because sniping on that game doesn't work on any of the maps, unless of course you run around no scoping. But it's because of the no scoping that I hate all of the snipers on that game.
I like the intervention because of the sound it makes. It's also the only sniper rifle I've ever really been able to get the hang of.
intervention. it feels most solid when you shoot and the satisfaction of shooting a bolt action makes it by far the most fun. now the BEST might be m21 due to its low recoil, but again...shooting an intervention round into someone and watching as they fall to the ground through your scope is AWESOME

I used to play with Barreta .50cal which is great if its several of enemys ( ground war for an example) but I've recently started to use Intervention a bit more since it got a bit better acc then barreta and I've started to play Domination / Team deathmatch which is less players and not really needed of a burst. I guess Wa2000 and M21 is better for Hardcore since you always one hit with snipers there.
