Star Wars is awesome, but I loved Mass Effect's feel, as well.

Agreed. Mass Effect is refreshing for its quasi-sci-fi hardness, at least compared to my other favourite sci-fi universes, namely 40k's and Star Wars', which are VERY soft. I look forward to what ME2 can add to its series universe with much anticipation.
