Poll: Favorite SSBM Character?

Roys our boy.
Anyway, I play as Roy, obviously, he's slightly slower than Marth, but Blazer (his UpB, I think that's what it's called) adds fire damage, if you can knock someone into the air, there's a chance flare blade will pull through and send them screenward.
But, I'm decent at Young Link, speed, better boomerang control, stronger bombs, dragon air. Fun

Marth would be pretty much the only character I can actually play as. Roy's stronger, but he's too sluggish for me. Also, the difference of their weapons makes Roy awkward to play for me, since I'd rather keep more of a distance than charging into people like a maniac.

Absolutely. Marth is an amazing character. I used to play Mario, but now Marth is my #1 choice. I very rarely lose with him. He is also an amazing edge guarder with proper practice. And his over-B combo is awesome once you figure out that there are 3 different finishing attacks with it.

I tended to switch off between Marth and Roy. Roy if I wanted to do some serious damage, or if I was fighting multiple people. Marth if I wanted grace (read: awesome air attacks), or if I was dueling. Also depended on the stage (on air stages like Big Blue, Marth all the way).

Even in SSBB, I main the Fire Emblem guys. Apparently Marth was nerfed for that game, but if he was, it was in all the ways that didn't affect me; not to mention they made Shield Breaker less redundant, and they made Dolphin Slash and Dancing Blade useful. And Ike is just awesome.

its only one counter... you cant counter everything ill just stand there and wait for you to attack then unleash a few combos on you before you can say "fire emblem sucks"
and when i say problem i dont mean just on the game, i mean in general
