Poll: Favorite Starter Pokemon (Gen 2)

I always used to choose Cyndaquil, but then again, I always choose the fire starter in Pokemon games for some reason...

I voted Totodile, but Cyndaquill is equally good.

I really like Chikorita and i generally end up using Maganium more then i would say... Typholsion since it's such a good assist pokemon. If you wanted a raw fire type powerhouse (like Typholosion) then you can always catch a Magmar or a Houndoom. Where as Totodile (and family) i don't really like that much since it's based around physical attack and in the original Gold/Silver/Crystal Water types were considered special so you have all that attack power being waisted for bite and slash... later on they did fix this but you're not refering to the original.
I've kinda gone off point here. so i'll just sum it up
> Chikorita looks cute
> Light screen + Reflect + Leech seed and Giga drain make it pretty good in teams where you need some back up or assistance
> It's stats are well placed for it's job
> I like grass types
> Hard to find an alternative (Typhlosion: Magmar/Magmortar or Camerupt. Feraligatr: Kingler, Kingdra or even a Slowbro)

Well, Feraligatr is my favorite Pokemon ever, so I HAVE to go with Totodile. Hell, Totodile itself is a boss. Not a big fan of Croconaw, but he evolves quickly enough.

Totodile. He's a fusion of dragon and crocodile. That's badass.

Still....I prefer Blastoise. But not by that much...
