I don't watch any of those.

Is SyFy channel the SciFi channel with a different spelling to try to look cool, or is it a ripoff of the SciFi channel?
It is SciFI..they station recently switched hands back to like the Original owners for the first time since forever and they changed the name to SyFy to appeal to more ppl..it's kinda dumb but the new way has grown on me...i like it now.

Oh my gosh...

I can't stand stargate anymore, I can tollerate it, but my Dad got them and watched them all in a row, I breifly saw some.

Then he watches the episodes on sky one each day and it is sooo excruciating.

During the summer it's been Star Trek Enterprise, Deep Space Nine and Voyager on Virign1, which I can live with as I haven't watched any of it, and I joke with my dad and ask "Is this the one where the holo-deck is on the fritz?" (implying that they all are)

and he hates the Enterprise theme song, so I sing with that, and whenever a scene goes quiet (usually when I guess the adverts come on,) I start singing "It's been a long road..."

Eureka has to be my favourite, atleast from the ones listed in the poll, the comedy in that seems to work with the actors and concept, unlike warehouse 13, I can't tell if it's the two main characters, or just the whole concept of it, but I don't think warehouse 13 works well.

I'm voting Warehouse 13 for this but only because I missed some episodes of Eureka and now I'm waiting for it to end before I watch it all like most shows I missed some.

Eureka is a great show, but it's on rarely, plus, can you say no to this face:

No, you can not.
Not to him, no. Matt Smith, on the other hand . . .

In order from starting from the best.

Stargate SG-1
Stargate Atlantis and Doctor Who tie.

I love the above shows, but just about EVERYTHING else on that station is garbage.
I wasn't aware they still played Doctor Who on that station anymore, I usually catch it on BBCA or just DL it the day after its released in the UK (because BBCA is always 3 weeks behind during a new season)

Right now Warehouse 13 has to be my favorite show on there then its Eureka and SG-1.

If you want to know why Syfy sucks so hard, take a look at this cracked article I read several weeks ago where the creators of the channel are quoted as saying:

".We spent a lot of time in the '90s trying to distance the network from science fiction, which is largely why it's called Sci Fi."- Tim Brooks, founder of Sci-Fi"

source: http://www.cracked.com/funny-5398-syfy-channel/

While cracked isn't exactly one to take seriously I've never found them to misquote someone. Maybe make fun of said quote, but never change it.

Ok, I don't know where my last post went, but if it shows up as a double post forgive this as I meant to simply edit it into that one.

Dr. Who isn't a Sci Fi original series so please take it off your poll and stop calling it as such it only degrades the awesome of the series.

That's an interesting question...in terms of quality, I would have to say that Battlestar is my favorite. In terms of writing, directing, style, and many other objective factors I believe that one can make the argument that it is by far, SyFy's best series. Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis, however, aren't necessarily as good as Battlestar, but I think that in some ways they can be more entertaining, and I really like them. I'm also a fan of Eureka, however I don't think it's really in the same class as the other show's I've mentioned. I haven't really watched an other SyFy shows religiously enough to offer an opinion on them.

My mistake--I didn't mean to put "original" in there. Thanks for pointing that out.

Eureka I like, but you cant really have the Doctor up there, all we Yanks do is take a hatchet to the show and cutting all the best bits out.
