Poll: Favorite type of music?

Well there are many types of music and i want to know what is your favorite? Me personal would be rock. I just hope something like this hasn't been posted already (as I am pretty sure it has)and if it has I am not seen as stupid... or otherwise something bad.

This is an old topic, just letting you know, do use the search button. That being said, I have a mix of tastes but it is dominated by Rock. I enjoy more rhythmic sounding music like Bittersweet Symphony.

I listen to more classic rock, like Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin. Also a fan of Irish rock, like Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphy, and the Pogues.

First of All country music should be included in the poll (I am aware however of the "other" option). I put rock but I will say that it is mostly 70s and 80s rock I like not so much new stuff. I also like stuff you can dance to like Electronic music. Rap is so overdone.

I do have to say I enjoy a good dose of country now and then, though not the stereotypical Johnny Cash type. Blues and soul I'd say pretty much dominate most of my musical taste.

Other - I'm into EDM (Electronic Dance Music for those who didn't know). I've been a raver since 96, and I've always loved house, hard house, speedgarage, and my current fav is scouse house!

That's cool, a little gothy but they have skill. Are their albums widely available?

yea, i know you can definately get their slef titled alblum and you can get their alblum "..Yes Virginia" you can get 'em at every FYE and other music stores

My taste is eclectic, but my first love is and always will be rap. I just love the catchy and moving beats, poetic flows and ingenious wordplay that can come from some of the (what i consider to be) good rappers (which mainly consists of underground artists). It's like they all have a story to tell, and I am more than glad to hear it. To hell with the 50 cents and soulja boys though, they can burn for all i care.

The rest of the music i listen to and enjoy just go on and on, it includes jazz, metal, indie, alternative, blues, drum n bass, rap-metal fusion...etc etc etc.

Most of metal's subgenres are what I enjoy. Folk music, Post Rock, Classical, and some Jazz.
