I find bits of wire or filaments fun because they cause more gory deaths.

What about you?

Sharks. I don't think I need to explain. The Shark-zooka from Armed and Dangerous is possibly the most win weapon ever created.

That was awesome, but for me (in video games) a crossbow bolt/harpoon is a very satisfying way to kill someone

Launching other living organisms at your enemies is always fun. The snarks if Half-Life were awesome, even if they do sometimes turn around and explode on you.

Cannonballs, I just find them hilairious. Or anything you can shoot from a Blunderbuss those guns are brilliant.

I would agree if it wasn't for the topsy turvy bomb and 'the box'. Whatever you do, don't open the box!

While in games I prefer guns that fire arrow type projectiles which impale people to the scenery (Stakegun, Railway Rifle etc), I think my favourite gun (which has sadly not made it into a video games yet) is one that fires organisms... specifically the Shokk Attack Gun.

http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Shokk_Attack_Gun
The gun itself is one of the most bizarre weapons produced by the Orks. It projects a forcefield through the warp, beginning at the end of the barrel and ending wherever the gun is aimed (roughly). The portals look like small spinning black holes. In this way it is possible for living creatures to travel through the warp towards the exit point, much like a temporary Webway portal. Being of Ork construction, the gun is known to misfire causing the tunnel to implode, killing anything in transit at the time. Also, the journey is extremely frightening and both Orks and Gretchin have learnt to avoid being fired.

Snotlings are used as they do not fear anything until they are face-to-face with it, by which time it is far to late to turn back. This has the effect of terrifying the Snotlings, making them exit the portal in a frenzy, ripping and tearing at anything they encounter as they leave the portal. This is effective because the Mek often tries to aim the gun directly on top of enemy soldiery, and they emerge inside living creatures or enemy tanks(ripping them apart from the inside)as well as landing nearby due to the very effective condensed exit point. Otherwise they are seen dropping out of the sky onto unsuspecting enemy troops. The gun is maintained by a Mekboy and a Runtherd entices Snotlings into the barrel.

I think my favorite projectile is still the Penetrator from F.E.A.R. There's just something so satisfying in pinning a guy to the ceiling through the bottom of his skull.

I'd say Bolter rounds, but since rockets aren't on that list I can't really vote.

I see no gnomes in your poll. I find this a problem. But if I have to say out of that list Id just say Normal Ammunition. Its much more satisfying when you get a gory death as they harder to achieve with normal bullets. Well except if you came from Vault 101.
