I went for the second option based upon that series. Still not sure if I voted for the right thing thoughDarmort said:/winRex Dark said:Where's the Tabletop/pen 'n paper RPG option?
As a computer game? An isometric view featuring real-time movement and control with hidden turn-based combat system where you can pause at any point to change what your characters do.
Baldur's Gate, pretty much.
I kind of wondered that, too, in the back of my mind, but then I decided to file it under "turn-based", since that's how we always handled stuff in D&D. It's a little more flexible, since people can interrupt stuff at any time and pass notes and crap, but we generally tended to stick to "go around the room in order" to keep it from getting too chaotic, especially when we were up to eight people at one point.Rex Dark said:Where's the Tabletop/pen 'n paper RPG option?
