When I played I was a protection Warrior, and I enjoyed tanking a lot. I had a lot of people tell me I was an awesome tank too, so that was pretty cool.

I've played WoW for a few years now, but i found myself switching my main every so often as i got a bit bored with my class.
Then came WotLK and the Death Knights.

I love the fact that with my Death Knight, i can enter most instances/raids and solo them.

I've found Death Knights have near enough the best parts of most other classes.

Walk on water, self healing, pets, self teleport to epl (if you make an engineer too, you'll get even more teleport locations), the lack of mana, 20% mounted speed bonus, silences and even a reverse charge (death grip).

Death Knights are (in my opinion) the best casual/hybrid class here right now.
(I've labelled them as a hybrid class due to the fact they do take alot of things from other classes)

At first my i would say Warrior but i kept switching my main so often that i ended up with Druid being my fav class mostly because imo Druids are fun to heal with :)

BOOM!kin ftw

Hunter was my first character, druid second, but I much prefer my druid to my hunter

Third choice would be my mage (specced fire)

Paladin.
Healing, strong offense and defense, and good abilities against the Undead/Demons (part of why I signed up for WoW was to fight the Scourge...)

I have two and heres why:
Druids because they are the so called jack of all trades at low levels, but when at higher levels they become great tanks if they can spec wisely enough, can rape bosses in feral (even with half blue half epics i was 3rd highest in dps for bosses)(against epic mages/locks too) and I was probably best at resto because of how I hate doing it, but at the same time never stayed the same (sitting back in raids casually healing to full out for lack of others).
DEATHKNIGHTS for everything Vitvol said.

btw i quit some year ago, not too sure how accurate that is anymore though

1. Mage
2. Lock
3. priets, hunters, druids, shaman, warriors
4. Characters I created only to get naughty words through Blizz's name filter
5. Retadins (Prot and Holy are cool beans, though)
6. Death Noobs (I find its good policy to assume DKs don't know what their doing until they prove otherwise)

My first choice is rogue, which is the class I played as my main for the 3 odd years I played, I quit a little over a year ago I believe. Close behind that is druid, which, before I quit, I was working on. Eventually got mine up to 36 and loved it, just the diversity you know? I was horde btw.

You know, if you had to leave out a class from the poll, you could have left out the Death Knight over the Priest...

Anyway, Hunter. Survivability out the ass, an animal companion, and the ability to switch between "Eat leaden death!" and "Run and live!" as your battlecry? Hells yeah.

Warrior, because you know a good warrior is good when you see them, they have an air of epic that surrounds them, and you tan typically pick a bad warrior out from a mile away. And weilding big bad two handed weapons and running really fast is excellent. Oh and EXECUTE.
Too bad Fury warriors are gimped as hell with Titan Grip's -10% damage set.

Why the FUCK would you reduce a DPS classes' DAMAGE output?!

Seriously, my Protection Warrior usually has higher DPS than my guild's Fury champ.

My favorite is a Paladin, but my one and only main 80 is a Warrior.

At least I can have their mount now with the Argent Tournament stuff, but I'll never have their spirit...

Anyway, everything about a Paladin is fucking awesome, which is why I loved them in D2, I loved them in Disciples of Steel, I loved my battlemage-cleric-paladin combo in Dungeon Lords, etc, etc, etc...

And it's why I love space marines in 40k. The righteousness of all of it, you know? It's awesome.

But yeah. Also, you saying druids are "bad in pvp." Have you looked at arena brackets? Have you played in BGs? You can stealth, you can heal, you can travel form and get away, my druid is the funnest character I ever PvPed with! :) If you don't like them, I gotta admit, it's a bit hard to get used to, but the way PvP is nowadays, the strengths of a Druid are very useful.

Mage, good luck killing a good mage.
Protection Warrior with [Warbringer] Talent which allows the use of Charge, Intervene, and Intercept in any stance and in or out of combat as well as the Glyph of Hamstring and Glyph of Spell Reflection.

Charge in Battle Stance, Hamstring, they'll most likely blink away, Intercept, (Stance Change to Defensive) Concussion Blow, Devastate Devastate (Stance Change to Battle) Hamstring (Stance Change to Defensive) Shockwave, Devastate Devastate Shield Bash (With Gag Order silences target for two seconds) Devastate (Stance Change to Beserker) Bloodrage Execute.

Win. Spell Reflection comes into play if any of the stuns fail.

My main and favourite would be a huntress. Followed by my Drood, who, for guild purposes, used to be my main through most of TBC.
